Went to Sephora and MAC today!
Picked up 2 things BUT only spent $16.52 for a MAC lipstick and Tarte Palette!

Gotta get into everything and take pics and swatches!!
But totally awesome hauls today. And finally got to use the V.I.B. 15% off coupon before it expired.

All of my neutral eye shadows. Long, picture heavy post.
This was a recommended post, one I had thought of doing but didn’t want to unless I thought it’d be liked, so I’m glad to do it now. I have tons of palettes and pigments, so I’m going to do each and swatch them, and I’ve bulleted them in order of the brand/palette/names/etc. I hope it’s not confusing and easy to find a color if you like it. If you have any questions send me an ask and I’d be glad to help. I found tons of dupes as well so I may make a post on that at some point.

The only single neutral eye shadows I own are thebalm in shameless shana and MAC Orb. I’m not going to swatch those because I swatched shameless shana from thebalm palette above and I haven’t been able to find my MAC Orb in a while :( But it practically blends in with my skintone, I use it as a highlight. I have pictures and swatches of it under my swatches tab or search for orb.
I’m going to write on each picture what brand and palette it is, but not each individual name. If you look at the bullet points though, you can see which color is which name, because I’ve listed them in order or how I’ve swatched them. Again though, send me an ask if you’re not sure.

Sephora Birthday Gift 2012.
My mom’s birthday was this month so she got her birthday gift (free) from Sephora. I decided to take swatches and pictures (flash and no flash) so you all could see what you’ll be getting this year if you haven’t yet. I’ll be getting mine in May. :) I have not used them on my lips, but I can/can ask my mom or if you have any questions just send me an ask. :)

Just got home. I got 3 things today. Another bottle of my toner I love (story with that later) and at MAC I gave in to two eye shadows. My mom got some stuff at Sephora though and I’m taking pictures and swatches of all of it for you guys.
Thats including the Sephora free birthday gift so you’ll have up close swatches and everything of what you’re getting. :)
I’ll have them up probably not until tomorrow, but a few sneak peak pictures tonight.

I’m loving the new Sephora beta website. Did any of you get an email to test it out?

I was so surprised to get this! I had no idea they’d be sending this out.
I got three products.

Free stuff from Sephora yesss!
Oh I just remembered! Today in the mail I got a package from Sephora. I was puzzled because I haven’t ordered from them. I was like what?!
Well it ended up being 3 free products (good sizes too!) because I participated in the ole henrikson and dennis gross live skin care chat last month on sephora.
My question was never answered but since I asked one they sent me that package.
I thought it was a sweet gesture and awesome. I wonder if every single person got one.
I did a promo about it before/during it- did any of you post in it and get this too?
I’ll post what I got tomorrow- I forgot it in the car under the seat lol.

$5 (on sale) Sephora eye shadow swatches + inspiration.
I posted this in my recent Sephora haul and said I’d edit in swatches, instead I’m just going to make this post about it. I bought it because it was on sale and a light blue, and I’m glad I did because it ended up being exactly what I was looking for.
I’ve been looking for a light blue to re create a picture I’ve had under my “inspiration” folder for a while, but haven’t really clicked with one shade I own to use. I didn’t know if this would be it, but I thought I’d give it a go. It seems to be what I was looking for. At least close enough for me. It’s pigmented and pretty and the staying power seems to be well as far as I can tell.

Funny thing? I JUST got my Urban Decay Ink For Eyes in Zero as well, which is so creamy and perfect to wing it out for the look too. I was kinda hesitant at how many times I’d have to try it but with the new ink for eyes I think it’ll be a lot smoother.
Now if you look, the bottom is matte and the top is shimmery. I considered putting my Lorac 3D Liquid Lustre on top to achieve that but I think it wouldn’t get the look I’m going for. I may use my new blingtone teal eye shadow from my Beauty Army box this month as a slight on top layer on the lid to create the shimmer. I have plenty of shimmers though so either way I’ll work it out. :)
